Finally got back on the water fishing for crappie with JBurns. We both had to work a little, but put in at 3:30pm and pulled out at dark. JBurns caught 3 to my 1 but all nice 12-14" crappie. Ended with 24 and if I hadn't caught so many catfish, and had concentrated on crappie we would have had two limits easily. We'll give it a try again tomorrow afternoon, and I'll try to get some photos this time. I keep hoping for that 15-17" fish but no go so far. Best color again was black grub with chartruese tail. Wind was pretty brisk today making it hard to troll, but it may have helped the bite.
