To all the Utah anglers and members that have family that live here. Anglers For Corroon. He's running on the D ticket against Herbert. He's been the mayor of Salt Lake County and Herbert's was picked as Jon Huntsman's running mate. So when Obama chose Huntsman for the U.S. Ambas
or to China, Herbert slid in.

That would be Herbert slimed in. I don't think he has enough backbone to have slid in. I'll support Corroon. However I'm concerned about his chances. While the people of Massachusetts voted in Romney for their Governor because they saw him as ethical and competent I just think we have too many that will vote along party lines. How else can you explain so many of our state officials that are so out of touch with the mainstream. Well at least they finally changed the ethics laws enough that it will no longer legal to bribe ( spend unspent campaign money anyway you want) politicians in Utah.

While I liked his, after the fact comments on access rights,Carroons stance on taxing left me wanting something different. Maybe someone with more substance will rise to the occasion.

Look hard and strong at the candidates- if you vote for 1 because of 1 thing but they do not represent anything else you believe in then you had better re-evaluate.
I also would like to see a clean sweep and anyone in there over 2 terms is gone. Take a look at all of the candidates stances on everything not just 1.
I don't care just whom it is that anyone votes for -I just hope why they voted for that person was a well thought out process and not jumping on the band wagon because someone whistles a good tune.

I would rather that a person votes on one issue rather than no issues by simply voting straight party without having any clue about any of the issues any of those cantidates stand for.

And I would rather- as I said- have people think about why they are voting for someone. Be it one party or the other- doesn't matter. Just asking a ? here and that's all-Isn't voting at a local level ( not straight party ) a good thing- but not voting straight party at state and national levels actually cancelling out your votes because those politicians at a national level will vote along party lines 90% of the time.

I'll run, everyone vote for me! I'll restore the rivers, lakes, streams, and locked up private lands, invest in business like Huntsman did to bring in business, work on exposing Utah to the world to let them see our natural wonder, educated work force, bring in tax breaks for big business to get jobs, work with education to bring down costs and make it affordable, straighten up the crooked bast**ds in the UTA, and take on the federal government overstepping its bounds.
Now if I could somehow get enough money to run, and break the stereotypical hold of voters to punch Republican without thinking, I'd do it. It seems all government needs to be flushed and honest people put in place, those with a backbone to stand up for their supporters without guile, corruption, or back-door deals.
Sigh, I really need some river therapy.
