Finally caught a walleye, at Provo State Park. Out on the dike, soon as I did a couple of guys started throwing right in front of me. So much for fair play.

I've seen this statement made before, fishing right over the top of you. Who does this? It seems like it must be common as I've seen it on here before. I fish from a boat primarily. I do believe I'd throw someone in if they did that to me. I'm not billy bad "A" but that pisses me off just hearing about it happening to someone else. I've fished from shore a lot in WI and have never seen someone with that kind of gall. I think there you'd have every other fisherman helping you throw the idiot in.

Hi just comment about army style fishing
Years ago when I fished at UL below Geneva durring the walleye spawn. Id have to cut aboyt10 peoples lines a trip, that landed on my shoulders while out in my waders. Them was the good old days . Fishin and fightin sometimes at the same time. Now that Im old, heaver and ugley .I just let them have my spot. Joe

I was out to Willard north marina the other day and the same thing happened to me. I caught a really nice crappie and some dude and his buddy in a boat parked it right on top of where I was casting. I was soooo pissed. They couldn't park it out further then cast back. They had to come right on top of it. I was trying to catch one of their lines so I could cut it in half.[mad]

It does make your blood pressuse go on the high side, I like the post about takeing kids fishing then you teach them fishing edicate. Now days there are more people for not enough water. about all we can do is count to 100 then go back to fishin. Joe

I've always enjoyed the attitude of other fisherman, respectful and usually end up talking with the fisherman on shore when I'm in the boat. Once on willard last year I was trolling and boat traffice forced me closer than I wanted to be to the shore fisherman. I apologized for being so close as I trolled bye, they saw I had no other real choice. I also told them I wasn't marking any fish there and hadn't for a few hundred yards but my finder was full of them past that so they moved that way to try and get into what I was marking since they weren't catching anything.
How
these types of people exist out there today.
