I know here up north we have Bear Lake,Mantua,Hyrum, Newton,Willard. Who else can add the list of boatable waters?

Willard, Powell, Jordanelle, Deer Creek, in Idaho... Oneida, Lamont, Glendale (or is it johnson, i dont know which is which but the one closest to Lamont)

starvation..... any idea if the Pig is ice free?

I dont think you can launch a boat yet at the state park on Starvation. It could have blown off in the past two days so you might be right.[cool]

I drove by rockport yesterday and it still had lots of ice on it at the dam.

buddy of mine gave me a call, he put his 14 foot flat bottom on starvation today but he dident say, and i dident ask him, where he launched fgrom if that helps i hope?

Yea there are places to launch a small boat that have fishable open water. I will be out there next week on Mon, Tues. I am looking forward to it.

FOD buddy,
I drove by Starv to check things out Wed. April 7. There was still a lot of ice on the main lake but there was fishable water at Indian Bay, the Main State Park boat ramp and around to the dam and of course over at Knight Hollow. There was also a large area of open water between Saleratus and the Dam. If it is not already, I bet it will be ice free within the next few days.

Time to get the boat ready.

commuterlink.utah.gov has a camera that shows the starvation bridge and starvation bellow it. I think they update about every 10 minutes.

A buddy of mine hauled his small boat to the pig today. Ice free but I am not sure how he done. If I hear anything I will let you know.

Yea I knew about the commuterlink camera at the bridge at Starv, Skeeter fishn1.

Starvation is wide open now. Drove by it this morning. No ice in sight.

Pig had a little bit of ice against the cliffs a week ago- fishing was decent- then is slowed right down- nothing new.

The ice was off Monday. Now hope the water warms up in a hurry
