So a friend and I decided to take advantage of the weather and go to mantua yesterday. I figured that the cold front this week would have affected my initial plans of crappie fishing cutler, so figured the trout in mantua would not be as picky. well anyways, we got up there and fished it for about three hours. the first ten minutes my friend got a nibble, so I figured it may be successful, but alas, we had no luck, and tried everything:bait, spinners, jigs you name it. We saw a few trout jumping at the end, but we didn't catch them [frown] oh well, as the weather warms up, maybe we will have better luck.
