Hooked the old boat up and grabbed the kitchen sink for a walleye run/campout at lincoln beach. Some of my first memorys come from lincoln beach, one in particular, as a young boy we arrived and are job as the boys was to set up the tent as we were not allowed in the trailer. After set up, fishing of course! After a couple of hours we had a bucket of mudcats and dad fillet them all complaining the whole time saying something about hard to fillet and not worth your time for the amount of meat on and on! As we arrived back at the beach ready for a fish fry a soaking wet man holding a soaking wet tent was walking down the shore line. Hey, my dad said, that is my tent. No, it was in the lake and i had to swim for it and it is my tent now.My dad giving my brother and I that LOOK (no stakes at ul[crazy]) Are new found tent rescuer then eyed the fresh bowl of of fillets and fortunatley for me and my brother he was willing to make a trade. My dad called for a report today, tried to fish friday ended up taking a couple waves in the face trying to get on water way to big[:/], then proceeded to fall off the boat trailer and soak the lower half. Saturday were attempting to bottom bounce when my $200 trolling rod fell out of the rod holder so I ancored and we spent the next couple hours trying to catch a 9 foot peice of graphite. It was a tough fight but i actually managed to land the thing. My dad laughing histerically said "gotta love lincoln beach." My son caught enough fish to make his trip and by the look on his face I think i've got him hooked on that muddy old lake!
