So i havent even made it out this year yeah i know what a bummer. But i was planning on headed to Willard on Friday just wanted to see how the fishing was going up there!

I have never been there so I'm not help right now. But I do have a question, does Willard get hit hard with fishing pressure this time of year?

I was up there for about 4 hours on Monday mid-morning. 4 boats total on the water where we were, South Marina/Dam area. We used jigs, cranks, bottom-bouncers, etc. Not a bite to be had. Water temp ranged from 46-48 degrees and overcast. A bit breezy towards the afternoon ended the day with a skunk in the logbook.

I'm not entirly sure how much pressure it gets this time of year. I do know that last year a buddy of mine and i went out aroung the third or last week of april and limited out within 4 hours on whiper just trolling rattle traps but there wasnt alot of boats out that time of year they do seem to do better in the summer when the boils start.[fishin]

thanks for the heads up maybe i will give it a week or two. we are headed down to lake powell on the 25 so i will probably wait until after that.
