[cool][#0000ff]TubeBabe and I hit it this morning. Nothing inside the harbor. And no crappies, wallies or wipers anywhere north or south outside. We finally found an area with some kitties and spanked a few. Will be posting a report soon.[/#0000ff]

Nice report and pictures. Those are some great looking crappie for sure. Were you using the normal jig under the bobber method? WH2

Nice haul. Glad to see things picking up. I have tried twice at Willard to no avail. Looks like it may be time for another round.

Funny how that works.
A friend and I fished inside the North Marina last Saturday from my boat.
As soon as we caught a couple of Crappie, everyone that was fishing from the shore came over and crowded us out of our spot.
What was pathetic was that they had to work their way through some thick cover to get to where we were.
No place for them to stand and after a few minutes, they would move to a different spot that was still in the area that we were fishing and try again
So I guess that it doesn't mater whether you are shore fishing or boat fishing, you will have a lot of new friends to help you catch your fish.

South Marina......Just got back from willard with usar 97. I spent the morning trolling plastics and Usar was dragging a minnow and trhowing a variety of things....nada for both of us till about 11:30 with Usar got a nice cookie cat. That was it for the day. We both had a few hits and misses, but no more hook ups. As we left We saw people catching cats out deeper. Fun day on the water and great weather...I look forward to another trip to willard soon,

Im thinkin next week is callin for a trip down to UL. I was hopin fishkiller would get a hook up but it just didnt happen. We'll knock em dead next time shawn
