I am wanting to get out in my tube on friday and am thinking of pineview any one know if pineview is tubeable?

It is tubeable. Was up there yesterday. Didn't see any carp or any fish. There is still some ice on the lake here and there. You might want to wait a couple of more weeks for pineview. You might have better luck at willard. Just my 2 cents.

i would go to willard i just dot have a pass and i dont want to pay to fish.

there are places you can go on willard with out paying. You can park on the road by the channel and walk to the lake from the right side of the channel. instead of turning to the right like your turning to south marina you can go straight down that road just follow it and it will take you to the south dike and around by the pole where you can catch walleye and wipers and alot of catfish.

do you think i would be able to get a 14' boat around ? i will be at wolf creek with the in laws and would rather be on the lake..even if fishing is not so good.

pineview is wide open, i was up there today. There is a tad bit of ice up by the dam.

willard it my get a little heavy after awhile but you could do it. you might be able to get a crappie from pineview. But i think it is just still a little cold for those little fellows. But you never know until you try. Pineviewfisher

Utah has a website called livelakeview.com, it lets you look at a camera at some of the utah lakes to check the current conditions. It may help if you're looking for the ice conditions. Just thoughts this info may help a few people out.
