Hit the port today. Beautiful day out and the fish were biting!! Unfortunately I only landed one 16 inch bow. The ice is breaking apart all over the lake and when I left at 2:45 there were open spots all around the lake. More so on the southern end. The bows didnt like worms or marshmallows and I got more hits off green rainbow powerbait floating it about 2 feet off the bottom. The west side of the lake didnt produce so much as a nibble. had to go through the park and fish the east side. For the people taking toons out there, the ice is on the move and it didnt take long for it to cover my fishing spot so use caution!!
