So my boy and I were lucky enough to get invited for a three night stay at beautiful Lake Powell.. We are launching from Bullfrog and camping in the canyons. Our reason for going is to fish. I have enjoyed hearing Bass Rods and a few others talk about this beauty only four hours away. I was wondering of there are any special rigs or anything on that water fish prefer? We are targeting walleye, stripers, cats, bass, crappie. Also what depths for the stripers? We really would appreciate some info thanks.

aside from the great posts on this board...

one word: wayneswords.com

There is a fishing report and an anglers corner that would be a great help to experts and novices alike.

I've made two trips this year so far. Take some curly tail grubs with you, white worked for us for some smallies. Also, deep diving cranks. Hit the website waynes words and it'll tell you everything you need to know to get crazy. Have a great time. My third trip will be first week of May and I'm stoked!

Laminate Senko's in watermellon / cream, 4 & 5" and white spinner baits did really well for me last year for SMB.
For Stripers, check out Wayneswords, as has been mentioned before. He's pretty much got it all covered.
When you going?
