Fishing still is pretty good. Today it was a little slower than the last two times i have gone but I finally got a buddy to go we caught 13 each. Mine were 6 browns 12" to 16", cutthroat 1 -16" and one 18" , 3 hybrid 14", 1- 12" white fish and a 20" sucker (more bait). wile I was standing there fishing I saw a fish that was about 3 foot long swim by I could not tell what kind it was but it was a monster. Could not have asked for a nicer day I bet it got to 70. I think I am a little redder now than win I left this morning.[cool]

Where were you fishing on the S. Fork? I was fishing at the base of the dam this morning and got skunked! Only second time that's ever happened to me there. Oh well, glad to hear other people were doing well.

thanks for the report [cool] when you talk about the rail road bridge is that just off the highway going to island park or is it between there and heise ?

The rail road bridge i am talking about is just down river from the Heise bridge. It is between Heise bridge and twin bridges.

I fished that area last week and caught 2 right off before I fell in the river and had my waders start to fill up. the fishing would have been great but i was so truamatized I just layed on the beach for a few minutes, fished a few minutes longer, and then just went home. It sure looks like a great place to fish though.
So how exactly do you get there. Like is is right off the road or do you have to walk a ways off the road to it?

Go down river from the heise bridge maybe 2-3 miles . Look down river you can see the rail road bridge from the road but you will have to walk to it.
