does anyone know if the ice is safe to walk on at the ladders? last time i was up there it was looking like it was going to be soon around the edges. any recent report would be appreciated. Thanx

As good as the ice was around Strawberry Marina on Tuesday I would be really surprised if there isn't safe ice around The Ladders still (as long as one doesn't get near where the water flows in there). The walking might be tough because of slush though. I am likely going to be fishing Strawberry again tomorrow, but probably not by The Ladders.

Its good to go still. It only got to 51 there yesterday. The inlet there hasnt even started to thaw. Its still all the way up to the falls.
