i hit the weber saturday. went to coalville first. got there around 7 and notice the water was way high and no flows. but i tried a few spots with no luck. around 730 went to my 2nd spot and it started off bad. ripped a huge hole in my waders. after a few dozen 4 letter words i still went. first spot 4 fish. 2 browns and 2 whites. water was very very clear. after about 45 mins in that pot i moved on. my next spot only 1 white but a nice one, around 17 inches. after about 30 mins with nothing it was that time to move on.my next spot i got 4 more. 2 more whites and browns. nothing to big all around 15 inches. spent around 30 mins there and moved on. as i was goin to my next spot what i almost stepped on was interesting and thankfull it wasnt something else. i almost stepped on about 12 - 16 snakes all intertwined with each other. i must have spent arounf 15 min just watching them. it was like watching a snake orgy. i never seen them like that but on tv. got my phone out and took pics and a video of it. they didnt seem to mind my witching. they were not aggressive or bothered by me.but i sure am glade they werent something worse like a rattlesnake or something.but time to move on. made it to another spot and wham a 16 in white and 2 more brown.at this time i notice that the ones in the deeper pools werent taking but the ones in short and quick runs it was on. there were alot in the clear pools but they spoked to easly. my next spot i got 3 more whites and 1 brown. to this point nothing huge but also nothing small around 14-17 inches but wow that was about to change. my next spot it was on and on big. 5 browns and 4 whites. my smallest was 17 but my biggest was whopping 25 inches and after i landed the 25 incher about 3 cast later i had a nice 18inch white that had to be about 5lbs. had to be my biggest white ever. it was in my net and all i could think was wow this one is heavy.after i let it got i was kinda upset, i didnt take a pic of it.but oh well. then 3 or 4 cast later i had another monster that was 25inch plus.i fought it for awhile saw it alot of times but snapped my 4x tippet like it was nothing. my biggest brown ever and it was gone. i had to set for a few minutes to recover.i must have spent another 45 mins there then decided to let it rest and come back later. i went forward but with no luck. about 45mins to and hr i went back. 2nd cast i had that one that got away earlier and guess what it did it again. snap and it was gone. twice now i lost it and wow i was not happy. this time its about 230 and time to go. said good bye with intent to come back for revenge. on my way back i get stung in the neck by a bee. so i started off bad, had a great day fishing but ended bad. but i had a great day all in all. a few bad things but not enough to make my day bad.next week ill be down in farren and goin to go to huntington or castle dale. i only fished huntington creek once with ok luck but i was also teaching my father in law and brother in law how to fly fish. but this time its just me. will let all know how it goes. does anyone have any idea on what will work there? thanks for any info and hope you injoy the pics

Sounds like you had an awesome trip!

I called up a couple of buddies that use to fish huntington creek alot and they said they haven't made it up there this year but last year they were hot on renegades and black gnats with a little red tail.
