Well, reading the board today makes me feel depressed. I went to Newton on friday and then the pond in benson by the churchhouse and got skunked. I even snapped a rod and broke it[frown] well it sure has been a tough couple of weeks, I got skunked at mantua last week, so this year is starting out tough for me!

I know how you feel. I started this season off 0-8. 8 times out fishing and 0 fish to show for it. My luck has picked up since then with a few multiple catch days up at DC. I have now evened up my stats with 12 times out fishing and 12 caught fish. I do realize that those numbers are still a little
, but a few more multiple catch days and I will be back ahead of the game!

I feel the same way. Went up to deer creek and did some tubin at rainbow bay. Couldn't buy a single bite in 3hrs of fishing. Only thing i ended up with was a painful sun burn.

that sucks about your rod. This whole ice fishing season i didn't even catch a fish. I guess that is because i always gave the pole to the kids. so i guess the fish gods seen that and will give me a 50 + inch musky this year.
