It was a beautiful day for fishing yesterday, but the catching wasn't so great for me.

I went to two reservoirs and they were both very slow, cold, and the water was murky, but they were filling up nicely. The rest to the ice just came off of these two sometime in the last week. The fish finder said the water was 45-48 degrees. I am sure it was a lot colder down a couple of feet.

At the smallest I only got a couple of hits. It was planted with fry last fall and that might be what was hitting. It gets fished out. At the larger reservoir I caught three that were about average size, but sure were skinny.

I know that it is kind of rude not saying the names, but if you want to PM me I will let you know. Or if you have been to these areas a lot you will probably be able to recognize these pictures.

It hit both Sunday and they were very slow. I got a few hits, but never landed anything. Had a friend land a small planter in the smaller one. Water temps were around 47 and topped out around 50. Tried leeches and Chironomids, and about everything else I had. It was a nice day for the most part.
