We have one remaining flag to give away. For those who want to compete the contest begins immediately and all posts must be dated no later than Tuesday June 1, 2010. The contest is to see which BFT member can catch the most different species of fish. Here are the rules:
1) Only fish taken legally from Utah public waters by "Angling" count. Reciprocal waters count as Utah public waters.
2) The fish can be kept or released.
3) Both game fish and nongame fish count equally.
4) Only one fish from the same species counts.
5) Cuttbows, Bonneville cutthroat and Bear Lake cutthroat count as the same species (sorry -- difficult to tell them apart in a photo).
6) Bluegill and Green Sunfish count as the same species (sorry -- difficult to tell them apart in a photo).
7) Albino trout will count as a separate species (so one could [#000000]catch[/#000000] a typical rainbow trout and an albino rainbow trout and count them as two different species caught). We realize they are the same species, but for our purposes we will pretend that they aren't.
8) Length and weight of fish does not matter.
9) [#000000]Posts must include species of fish, date caught and the name of the body of water.[/#000000]
10) A picture must be attached to your post, and you must also have a sign in the picture that reads:
[#000000]"BFT2010" [/#000000]
[#000000]The sign can be black or any other lettering, as long as the lettering is large and dark enough to show in the photo.[/#000000]
11) The attached photo should be named the species of the fish. For example: "Wiper.jpg"
12) If the moderators are unable to identify the fish, because the fish or photo is too small, the picture is too blurry, or for whatever other reason the fish will be disqualified.
13) Participants should make one reply to the thread titled "Entries BFT Flag -- Most Species Caught Contest" and each time they add a new fish they should edit their post and add the next species caught (always adding the next species to the bottom of the post).
14) In case of a tie the person who posted their tieing fish earliest will be declared the winner.
15) Post your questions to this thread and refer back to these rules from time to time, because based upon the questions the rules may need to be tweaked some.
16) The decision of the moderators is final.
