Wow today was windy. I wanted to hit the water today but man oh man. Tomorrow is more of the same. I took today to stock up on bait. I went to the hatchery and picked up some trout morts to make into cut bait. A 5 gal bucket makes a lot of bait. Not all were usable. Some were at the bottom of the pond over night and a little mushy. I am set for a while with some nice bloody, slimy, silver dollar sized treats just right for a hungry catfish.
If tomorrow is more wind like it is saying I might have to do some reloading for next years hunting season.
If it is blowing next weekend I might have to call in sick the next good day we get!

You said it TD. We were going to hit D tomorrow with the Outlaws and new gas motor, but with the weather this week, I think we will hit tibble with the new escapes.

I've got the curse on me this spring, seems like every time I get a weekend off it blows like crazy but when I am on call and can't go fishing (like last weekend) it's great weather. Wish I knew what I did to mother nature to get her so peeved!

I know, my weekend is wed, thurs, and fri and it seems to want to rain and storm all three days week after week. Looks like my plan to fish Colorado on monday will be best right now.
