[cool]Finally got an early start on the water at 5:15am. Went south of 33 hole in the tube to find LMB and then stripers. Well the LMB were very few, only one but got him in a very secluded cove that no boat can enter. He was about 1.25lbs. Then went towards the armada of boats parked off 33 hole to try for stripers. I got no love on lures or 'chovies. However the guide boats would pull up one every once in awhile that could barely make a single taco; real small dinks. Decided to call it a day after 5 hrs and 2.5 miles in the tube.

I fished a local bass tournament on 5-1 and placed second. My partner and I bagged a little over 11.5 lbs of fish. I was throwin senkos all day, and I put a limit of bass in the boat before 8:30 am. It was a hell of a day- we landed 15 or so keeper bass. We were tossing 2-lbers back like they were shorts. We got pushed out of first by a hefty 13 lb bag. I will throw a pic up when I get it.

[cool]Thats the way to do it! Good job. Did you guys launch out of Calville? Lots of nice coves around there. I'm still on the learning curve when it comes to LMB. I still get them but not in quantity or quality. I think I need less tiring transport than a floatube. Way to go in the tournament.

Yeah we launched out of callville. I was a beautiful day out there.
Lets go out on my boat soon- Send me a pm with your number. My phone took a dive at Lake Havasu and I lost all my numbers. We can head out this saturday if you want. Maybe an afternoon trip if anything.

Whizz knows his way around the LMB for sure. I'm another one just getting started on fishing for them. I've done alot of reading, and purchased some gear, put finding a spot to fish for them has been my challenge...
