A not so great trip this time (fish wise, but great in other ways) - we went to Dayton and the water still isn't high enough for some of the areas I truly love to fish, but we did manage 12 fish, with the two biggest being 3-1/2 and Chip caught a 4 pounder. Chip is a newbie bass fisherman andI gave him three of my older baitcasters, good equipment, especially to learn on. He has one spinning rod and is newly married so I figured he didn't need to be spending too much money on fishing equipment. I've been looking for someone like him, someone with a real desire to learn and a love for the sport. I think I will put together some tackle to give him to go along with the rods and reels. It really thrills me to see someone like him catch a good bass and he caught the largest. He was really thrilled as the 4 pounder was his largest fish ever. Milfoil up in Richland Creek coming along but we only caught one fish out of it. Chip thought he couldn't throw a baitcaster, but by the time we were through he was really slingin' it. He also said that was the fastest he had ever been in a boat too.

I think I may have figured out how to post a picture so lets try it!
