Started at the mouth of Mullin's Cove with a few other boats. Our plan was already covered by faster boats, so we went to an old pattern Danny had.<br /> We fished 1 to2 ft off water and got our first bites after about 45 min. from the first cast. We pretty much fished water in the cove that rarely gets fished ( if you can figure that one out)<br /> Nailed our best on a blade and got some on top. Fished that spot for 4 hrs in water so skinny we had to push the boat off with a pole.<br /> Wasn't long and we put the measuring stick away and were culling 2 lbrs<br /> Tried a couple other holes- nothing. <br />In the last hour we went to the Brendaline <br />,worked the cove near the gate to the park. Danny says "Lord, just even give me a dink on my topwater" Splash, a dink!<br /> I said "Danny if the Lord's gonna give us a fish, ask for a 4 lbr," he does, and 3 casts later I nail a 4.2!<br /> Danny, how about a 7? Never happened.<br />The last 4 lbr came on a Baby 1 minus, and Danny might go to Church!<br /><br /> Special thanks to Jonathon for keeping me from sliding into the water this morning-whole different story!
