Caught this seven pound cat on the Green River using a crawdad for bait, just pull off the pinchers and crush the head so the cats can smell it. There is some pretty good Catfishin here im still after some over ten pounds though. i'll post some more pics soon. The only trouble with the Green is there are a ton of small Cats so you need a bait that holds on the hook well until a big fish can find it.

What part of the Green was you fishin' on? I thought they exterminated all dem cats!

I was fishing above town nears swasey's beach. yeah they were trying to reduce Catfish numbers to see if it would help native fish, they stopped targeting catfish in 2004 however because they didnt see any results, so they have had some years to grow. there are still a few big boys around in the good holes

Nice cats Jack hopefully we can get down there this year for a few of those pigs. But this weekend we are off to the Gorge for the derby, wish us luck.
