I dont believe you can use two poles without a two pole permit anywhere in the state ot Utah. As for the fishing at Echo, I here its slow.

Not legally but i'm sure that it's done.[]
When Utah started the second pole permit, it was for waters that didn't contain trout.
About 3 years ago, the regulation was changed to include most all of Utah's waters.
There are some places where Utah shares a body of water with another state. These places may have different regulations.
As always, check the Proclamation to be sure.

What are you fishing for @ Echo?
There should be some giant catfish in there - down by the river.

[indent]You must buy a two pole permit to use two poles at echo. The fishing is good trolling for trout and stays good from here untill it gets over ran by all the pleasure boaters
fishing derby on teh first saturday of june up there that is only 15 or so bucks to enter. The fishing is usually excellent.

Did great at Echo Saturday before the storm blew in. Lots of FAT Rainbows - bellies were empty, so they must be just starting their feeding cycle. Trolled with Rapalas. Didn't need anything else.
