<br /> I got out this morning around 10:00 am and finished up at 12:00 noon. According to my boater it was a slow morning. I guess he wasn't fishing from the back of the boat. We made our first stop this morning and I felt a tug, set the hook and landed a nice green eared sunfish, things were not looking up at this point. We fished a half mile down a bank to the back of the cove, no fish.. At the back of the cove my boater said things are slow "so we should go." I made one more cast to the back of the cove and hit a 3.5 lb largemouth, so at least I had a good start.<br /> I tried several different baits and finally settled on a watermelon shakey head. Total 10 bass ,6 keepers, best 5 about 9 lbs. plus or minus.emoScratch So somebody was busy........
