What a great weekend on Guntersville Lake! My buddies and I caught good quality bass yesterday but the numbers were not there. We caught about 30 between the three of us but all of them were decent fish with one over 7, one over 6, and several 4+. Today we got a mixture of both catching over 70 bass with one over 6, one over 5, and several in the 4 lb. range. I broke off on one big girl that would have topped 8 lbs. + and we all lost a couple of heavy fish that we didn't get to see. We caught fish on topwater, crankbaits, soft jerkbaits, dropshots, spinnerbaits, and texas rigged worms near fresh grass in 1'-8' of water. Most of the fish were near fresh grass. Water temperatures hit 80 F all three days and I got news for you, the shellcrackers are bedding! These three "boys" had 3 great days on Guntersville Lake this "weekend." emoToast
Now we will have to go back to work to get some rest as we are some :emoticon: boys!

Tight lines! emoAngler
