I took the kids up to the cabin at Scofield to see how it weathered over the winter and to get in a little bit of fishing.
We didn't arrive until right about noon and caught plenty of small rainbows and cutts between the multiple rain/hail storms that blew in and out all afternoon.
We caught fish using the traditional baits, with a worm and marshmellow seeming to catch the most. We also caught quite a few on a yellow body and silver bladed Panther Martin.
We only caught one 16" tiger with a minnow fished under a bobber.
It was nice to finally get out of the house.
