I have searched and searched and read everything about Cold Creek but only see mention of trout. I really wanna do a lot of fishing this weekend. I usually only hit Floyd Lamb but was thinking about trying Lorenzi and Sunset Parks this weekend. I stumbled upon Cold Creek information and it looks beautiful! Does anyone know if there are bass?

nope, no bass. There are only some small carp, goldfish and trout in there.

i would skip lorenzi fishing has been horrible. i live and work right down the street from lorenzi but i travel across town to fish sunset better odds there. on the other hand lorenzi is usually much quieter. not super busy like sunset. good luck out there where ever your bait may land... tight lines.

Too late! LOL. Went there last night around 6-8PM. Nothing. Water was disgusting. Kind of depressing over there. Ghetto pond.

Really no structure or anything to target for bass. Saw some baby bluegills going after my son's hot dog rig but they were too tiny to get the hook in their mouth. I didn't see anybody pulling any fish out at all.

Might try Sunset. Anybody know how late it stays open? Catching some fish at Floyd Lamb but getting bored with it.

Sunset park is open until 11pm each night. I haven't had any luck there so far this year.

I wish FLSP was open that late. Fish start getting active there as it gets close to 8pm...then the sprinklers come on and they run you out! [laugh]

Last time I was at sunset we had a pretty good snap on the catfish. It was pretty close to the plant though. Anchovy chunks and nightcrawlers seemed to be the baits of choice and they really got going around 5 PM
