Took a couple of my sons fishing off the pier in Gulf Shores. The conditions were beautiful--not a trace of oil. We used a Sibiki--a line with about 6 hooks with a little fly attached to each one. You don't bait it, you just jig it and you might catch 3 fish at a time. The locals called them elwai's (sp?). We also used shrimp and caught a good-size spadefish (picture attached). Saw someone pull in a big speckled trout and a king mackerel!
