Depends on whether you are willing to release big fish. Then I may have some info for you.[Tongue]

From all reports that I have heard, it is really spotty and the fishing has been rough. I usually don't fish Strawberry until the middle of June for shallow cutts, July for kokes and then September thru November for shallow cutts. Good luck.

Unless I catch a monster i want to have mounted I don’t keep anything at the berry. Trout [:p] taste bad! I usually have had great luck early but this year has been really weird so I just wanted to know if anyone had any luck this last week.

I was Talking to the Fish cops on Sunday 5/30 and they said from the shore at Strawberry people were having some bad luck. They said one guy caught 2 fish and that was the best they saw on Sunday. Also a lot of tickets were handed out last weekend.

Me and buddy were up there on Sunday and we caught 8 from the bank (4 Cutt's & 4 Rainbows). We didn't see to many others catching much.

I was up there for work covering the SAR Tuesday and Wednesday, in my spare time started chucking gold kastmasters and white roostertails from shore at Soilder (back of the marina) and at the dam (west corner by fee area). I would say I caught at least 30 dinky stockers and 1 16" cutt, all caught and released in about 2 hours from each area. (And yes I crush my barbs for all you hardcore C&R freaks!) I was pleased to have caught that many in that short amount time seeings thats my first time at the Berry. With that action, my kids will love it! Ill have to head up with my toon here in a couple weeks!
