<br /> fished the CFF yesterday and we fished deep almost all day. Started off with a keeper on a Spro Little John DD with in 15 mins and thought it might be a good day. Had a limit in the box by 745 but that was about it.. Culled a few times but only by ounces.. Never could find the big fish.. All fish caught in 20&#43; feet of water on Crankbaits, C-Rigs, Jigs and few on Spinnerbaits.. Fished mostly the lower end from dam to HBSP.. did ride up past Chester Frost at the end of the day and managed a few fish but nothing to help. Caught a small spot in 2 ft of water in some grass on a craw.. Poor little fellow was lost emoLaugh <br /> went back today and fished the spot we started on and go figure wacked em good. Had 14 fish in 2 hours on one spot and only one wasn&#39;t a keeper. Was the last one I caught so I knew it was time to move.. Nothing huge but all were solid 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb fish with fat guts. They are feeding on shad well.. Fish were all on the top of a shelf of ledge that drops from 16 ft to 45 ft. Usually catch them on the deep drop but today they were on the top. Baby Brush Hog was the ticket today didnt catch em on anything else.. They all inhaled the bait as you can see by the blood in the pic. All fish swam away just fine though. Best 5 would have been around 14-15 lbs best 3 would have been right around 9 which would have got check yesterday go figure emoScratch emoPoke emoParty <br /> One day Ill figure this silly lake out emoLaugh <br /> Here is a pic or two from today. Caught all fish before and during the rain around noon.. Once rain quit didnt catch anything and the cruisers came out so was time to leave. Be careful out there was a ton of trash and logs in the water <br />
