Full Version: Anybody fished for perch in Cascade?

I am going up tomorrow - I fished the State Park (at the north side of the lake) for a few hours last weekend - the weather was nasty and I only caught five small perch on worms. I will stop at Tackle Toms to see what's up but any advice would be appreciated. It is great to see a fishery like Cascade recover. Some of the perch I caught last year were HUGE and they are supposed to be even bigger this year. I'll let you know how it was and thanks in advance for any input.

It's been some years ago but we use to kill them off the boat launch area at west mountain. We would fish out of a canoe in about 20' of water. It was close enough to shore you could cast to it, slip bobber setup. And if I need a perch fix real bad I could always catch a dinner below the dam - just not many big ones. Good luck to ya!
