I went into a white water shop in Twin and they had a toon called a Gigbob. It is an interesting boat. It inflates to 6 PSI. I sat on it and it is a FIRM feeling framless pontoon. It is very expensive but an interesting boat. Here is a link to what it is. Ron

It was brought up not too long ago.

To me for less than that price, I can have a couple of different float tubes and a pontoon boat that will cover most of my different water needs.
Interesting concept though. Would be good for an extended travel/vacation fishing trip. Something there for it all.

It is a LOT of money. I read a story about a guy that took one down the middle fork of the Salmon river ( white water ) I would like to give one a test drive. I know I would not buy one for 1600 dollars. I like to get most of my stuff used and about .30 cents on the dollar. Ron

It is frameless but it has two hard plastic plates down the sides for the oars.
It reminds me of the Day Tripper, and that was a nightmare.
The NFO Renegade is the most popular cause it has tons of room, is light and can take Class V with ease, specially when the water is going in two directions and one pontoon gets caught. That is why you see videos of other two pontoons getting pulled to the side where the U shape just tracks nice and straight.

I just read the specs for that double decker.
Here they are:
8' long by 4' wide?
Full weight 67 lbs?
Okay my 10'6" Outlaw WITH a frame and oars is 65 lbs.
The Rampage frameless also 10'6" weighs with oars at 38 lbs
That boat might be frameless, but it doesn't show it in weight. I would worry about a short narrow boat that I am sitting that high on on any moving water, but just me.
