Hit Jordanelle today, fishing from 10-1pm. Thought for sure I'd run into all the out-of-schoolers in their daddies' boats, but got waved by only one tuna boat and two jet skis. Water everywhere from 54-60. Jigged up 4 smallies in the 12-16" range. Nothing worthy of pics. Lost 4 others. All in 5-6' of water. Tried crankin' to no avail. Chub City in some of the wind-protected shoreline bays, particularly to the west once past the buoyed sandbar stgraight out from Hailstone. Talked to several other guys who said it was slow, but at least improving. Won't be long now & they'll be jumpin' in the boat.

We had a club tourney up there today, the bass fishing was tough! I caught some nice browns that had really great colors on them. Only caught 2 decent bass and 4 dinks all on jerkbaits but I threw almost everything on my 'usually works' list. As soon as the water level steadies fishing is going to be hot.

I saw you guys camping on points. It was a rats and a sunburn day.

I went out there this morning and caught 3 chubs and 1 bass. It is slow yet.
