Anyone out there trolled it lately?? Thinking about heading up there to target two species...lakers for a while then going to go after the kokes. I'm in the mood for a new challenge and I know that res can be tough fishing but wondering if anyone has been there recently?

We were up there on May 31. We caught 20 fish including a 5lb lake trout that we were not even fishing for haha. We were trolling up the Bear Creek channel using black and white daredevel spoons. We mostly caught browns, but managed to catch a couple rainbows and a couple cutthroats. Sorry that I can't help with the kokanee, but I am told they are pretty elusive up there unless you are ice fishing. Good luck and let me know how it goes.

Thanks Nipes! I'll let you know how we do[

Reservoir is filling again since all this rain. 2 feet in the last 15 hours. Jackson Lake is full, so whatever is coming down, will be coming down.
The Dam is releasing 11,000cfs now and I think it will be at 14,000cfs Tuesday. Most likely more this week, but haven't heard yet.

Dam flows will be at 17,000cfs Wednesday morning at 3am.

Thanks for the info. Just when it was getting to a good level they crank it back up. Got to love spring fishing

EZOP, do you have any idea what the next few days or the next week may hold for levels? Just curious if there are any projections for now.

Best I can say is it probably will go up more, but haven't heard yet. I'll be off and gone for the next week so I won't have any good info.

Oh well, thanks for the good info so far.

Just to let you know even though pali

es is rising the fishing is great. We have fished the last couple weeks there and it has never been so good. We have been catching alot of 2-3 lb browns and cutthroat (no rainbows in this lake) and 3-6 lb mackinaw--even a 31/2 lb salmon. We are trolling in 40-70 ft waters with downriggers set at 45-60ft.-bumping the bottom is awesome-even losing a downrigger ball makes it worth it. I'm sorry but I can't tell you what color but we are using spoons [
