It looks like a Pacu to me. I can't tell from the pics but if the fins had any sort of red on them, you could be fairly sure it's a Pacu. They are sold as pets but can become quite large and expensive to feed. People have been known to release them in lakes and rivers.

People sometimes mistake them for Pirahna because they look somewhat similar.
