Great day had to share, launched at 939AM out of the (I think) Hobble Creek channel (there at the University offramp). Water temp was 74, sun was starting to warm things up, hit 90 at 130pm when we left. Not alot of boats out for a Sunday. Got out of the channel to the main part by the white jugs headed just a little south and into the reeds. slight breeze made it nice. Three of us were limited on cats by noon Nothing hug biggest was a 3.4 lb'er the rest were all in the 1 1/2 to 2 lb size great lil eaters yummy..... we were using minnows tipped with either shrimp or a piece of worm, and of course WD under a bobber in about 3' of water. Carp were going nuts in the reeds, few times thought they were going to land in the boat. Best day we've had in awhile
