[cool]I usually post on the Utah board and haven't fished in Idaho in years. I Will be heading up there with my friend from Rupert this weekend if the weather is half way decent. I know it's supposed to rain a bit. I heard a couple of weeks back that the fish were all mostly out deeper. Is that still the case right now? No, we won't be fishing off the docs. Will probably be out of my friend's boat fly fishing... Any recent reports would be much appreciated... AND... I'll be sure to post a report here when I get back home...

I fished Henry's yesterday. I was around the cliffs area and did not catch any fish. I talked to quite a few other people who also did not catch anything. I did see two fish get caught by boats trolling. I was fly fishing from my pontoon boat. The little midges are thick. Good Luck.

I fished the lake last saturday. I started at the state dock and trolled the shoreline about 100 yds out all the way to the cliffs and NOTHING! We went back to the dock fishing closer to the shore and still NOTHING! When i pulled into the state ramp there were probably 100 kids and "fly fisherman" snagging all the spawning females and hooking the fish anywhere but the mouth.

The Ranger and F&G guys all said that the fish will probably be in tight for the next week and a half and then should move out deeper.

GOOD LUCK!

Situations like this give the F&G that is supposed to protecting our resources a bad name. This just makes me sick . . . [Image: yell.gif]

I fished up there last friday. Water temps were still cold 46 degrees by the hatchery. I caught one fish a brook trout in four hours, when the rain started. I hear the the folks midging are having some success depending on the day. Just depends if you like bobber (indicator fishing for the purists). Most the midgn' action I have seen is off the county in 10-14 feet of water tradtionally a snow cone midge I believe.

Good luck,

We fished Sun thru This morning (wed). It's tough fishing, weather and wind. We caught fish. We had to move around a LOT. We drifted flies and caught about 40 fish during our stay. I'm going to post pics and a report sometime tomorrow. basicly, dish are in 8-14 feet of water. Use some type of sink line, drift with or cast into wind, let them sink, strip SLOW, and tip bob....
Good luck
