Went out to one of my local holes looking to see if the bass wintered over ok. We were pretty worried initially since we couldn't buy a bite for anything. I did manage to catch one 12" rainbow on a bass spinner of all things though. Then around 230 the bite turned on. I landed 4 bass in 5 or 6 casts. My buddy was quickly changing lures to match and then demanding he get the front of the boat :-). Between the two of us we managed to land over 12 fish easily with 3 around the 3# range. Then the bite just turned off. We caught one or two more over the last hour we were there plus one sucker but overall it was a good day.
