Nobody really chums for pike or walleye...

Pike you will want to use large spoons and spinners... gold in cloudy water and silver in clear water on bright days. Mepps Giant Killer, Cyclops and Black Fury are good choices for Pike. As well, Johnson silver minnows are great for Pike.

Walleye... either jigging minnows or Berkley Gulp Alive will do wonders. Mr Twisters also work fairly well. On the troll... a nice white Cotton Cordell Big O will get some great Walleye action.

raw liver will also attract cats, but it will also attract turtles as well.

It is best to target small fish feeding beds for pike, Pike dont normaly travel a lot, they are more oppertunistic as to pretitoristic.

as for walleye, you want to find their stageing area. While walleye will go hunting they will take the first offering that is available at the moment they are ready to feed. Walleye are not on the regular feeding cycle as with other fish, they feed only when they are ready. To each walley his own, one color or pattern may turn one walleye on and turn another away... The time of day morning or eavening is better, but an over cast day walleye can be active all day.

no bones in cat fish fillets,

they are quite taisty, be sure when you fillett them you cut the fillets to one inch thick, this means you can get numerous fillets or steaks if you want to go that route.

Be sure to cook them all the way though, you dont want a mouth full of slime... lol

I prefer mine battered and fried, but to each his own boys...

fillet them the way you do gills, then ley the skin side down and run your knife though and cut the skin off,

the old way is to nail thier heads to a tellaphone pole and pull the skin off with a pair of pliars... I hate work... lol
