Been out of town for a couple weeks, excited to get on the water again. Does the weather gods hate me or what?

Caught a few WB for bait and set out to catch a poster fish for the tourney. no go. water temp 62 at launch at 7:00, not much warmer when we left at 11:30. hit some of my spots, caught 3 mud cats, and one good eater size channel.

Wind was at it's normal "breeze" and started white capping when we left. Didn't see any other boats on the water..... guess I know why..

Sorry to hear about the fishing. Glad to hear you got to fight a few tho. It does seem like almost every weekend and friday that the weather tanks. I will hit a few spots in beteween storms tomorrow, Hope the fish wanna play. We have done great during small storms in the past....we'll see.
