Only got to float tube a full day (half one day and half the other) out of all week. Too much heavy rains and too much winds. Wow no skeeters there at all! My brother was kidding us about there were only three skeeters out there..... Lakes around there were low about three feet.
Not too bad on fishing. I didn't go full time for bluegills or crappies on baits. Did all casting for anything....
Caught bass, pikes, bluegills..... Had a muskie followed (not while tubing) and whew he/she was the largest one going at maybe 40 inches....
Did stay out late into the darkness tubing, sounds like fishing shut down and didn't catch anything floating back (did get everyone worried about me being out there in the dark)
Casted the Moss Boss into the weeds as u can see on the photos and wow that thing really works great!

Bluegillman - How far North were you? I've fished in the Ashland / Bayfield areas (Bladder Lake). Not sure if I would want to try for any toothy critters in a tube [Wink]. Hopefully I'll be able to get back up there next Summer.

Thanks for posting.

I was tubing on Moccasin Lake at Three Lakes Wisconsin but stayed at Adam's Cabins on Spirit Lake.

Actually, it was a couple of years ago when I was up there. Bladder had lots of 12-15" LM so I suspect the lake doesn't get fished much. Your post made want to go back there soon. Thanks [fishin]
