Sad indeed. Hate to have something like that happen in a sport we all enjoy so much. That Grandfather/grandson relationship is so special and to lose a family member like that has got to give pause to all of us. Seems like no matter how careful you are an accident is never too far away.

Very but probably avoidable.Always wear your life vests and if you hate the bulky ones spend the money for the smaller inflatibles your life is worth it.
