Its summer in New Jersey, and my fishing season got off to a late start this year, but its mid june now and I have a few trips to Merril Creek under my belt. I had some success on these trips and thought I'd share them with you, and I encourage you to share any of your early catches this year!
Nice largemouth I landed earlier today:

This smallmouth was officially my first catch of the year, and the following rock bass was taken on a lure larger than it is.
