Launched from Lindon at 6ish (end of June and I think this is 55.00 of our 70.00 pass, gonna be well worth it!). If I remember right, water temps were right at 70. Went to the Poo Ponds to try and catch some fresh bait. NOTHIN'. Couldn't buy a white bass. Good thing I saved some from last trip. Fished the northern shore and caught cats every place we stopped. Most all were in the perfect 1.5-2lb eating size. Friends don't get out much so we decided to stock us up and keep a few.

In my current bait crisis, I decided to sink a worm in the middle of the submarining carp, and all we could catch were more cats.

UL was hungry again today, somewhere between stops, I lost my trolling motor prop? I putted real slow about 50-75 yards from one stop to another, with the trolling motor down. Must have been loose and it spun off on the ride over.

We boated 25 or more. Caught a few bigger ones we let go. Off the water, loaded up and crossing the tracks at 11:44. Gettin hot and wife had to work.

Few skier's hitting the water, but all were very civil and kept their distance.

Good day with good friends.

[cool][#0000ff]The catfish are active all over the lake right now. Day or night. And they are mostly in water shallower than about 4 or 5 feet. Many are in only two or three feet of water. Fish next to the reeds if you can find some. Use a bobber and feed them carp meat, white bass meat, minnows or plain old crawlers. A lot of guys like shrimp, chicken livers or even hot dogs.[/#0000ff]

I fished off the north dike of Lindon this morning for a couple of hours. The fishing was pretty fast. Lots of carp if you have a bow. I caught fish with carp meat on the bottom and under a bobber. The action got faster as the day got warmer. All the cats were in the perfect eating size- around 2lbs.
