[Image: yell.gif] this morning i went fishing with my wife and daughter at arrowrock . the fishing was slow. we were bankfishing by the ramp. a guy came over by us and started fishing. my daughter dani asked what the man was doing in his chair. he had his back to us but it was obvious he was engaging in " self pleasuring ". i yelled at him to stop as i had my familly here . he said its a free country...

soon after he reeled in and left. i wanted to confront him but my wife was against it. i wasn't armed but man i am mad !!!!! we caught 7 bows' on floating corn powerbait. the largest a little over 16"

If I had my family with me I'd probably just pack it up and head for another spot all the while looking for ANY reason he might give me to beat the living snot out of him.

I have only lived in Idaho for a year now and Arrowrock up to Atlanta is probably my favorite all around area I have found yet. However it is very isolated up there and I always make sure that I'm "prepared." Given your story today and someones tires being slashed earlier this week I'm glad I always am.

I would have called the cops and kept him in sight until they got there or got his license number. That is a sick dude and what he was doing is illegal. Sorry you had to see that.

I hope this sick *^%#$%# does this at the wrong place and the RIGHT time. Some have a wife that would help in the @&& whooping. Good fishing...........

What's up with the weird stuff happening at Arrowrock the last few days. What was he driving? Maybe he's the tire slasher? The TV keeps gets getting stranger everyday!!!

I think you should call the police to report it even if you didn't get the license plate number. That way the police could be on the look out for the sicko.

That is just crazy! I agree with an above statement. . . call the popos and keep him in sight or take down a license plate number. was this on the first big beach you come across up at arrowrock?

Call the cops and give them what discription you do have. It is a very real possibility that he choose to sit in your area just because of your daughter being there. He could be a very dangerous pervert in the making. They need to be on the look out for this guy and his this kind of behavior. He will probably be back at some other public place or playground.

yep the big beach. he was driving a ford f-350 red. couldn't remember the licence # after i found a pen. canyon county plates though. guy was like 40 ish very pudgy, full beard. wanted to back this morning but afraid he would be there and i would loose my cool.............kind of hot to fish today !!!

good job on keeping your cool and you do still need to call law enforcment and let them no it happened. personally i dont know exactly what i would have done in your situation im a very level headed person and i am very very good at not losing my cool but when it envolves my children there is no telling what i would have done my kids make me very sensitive.

unbelievable[mad] well your first priority is yours and your family's safety so all you could have done was get a good description and plate number and talk to police. I would have got the camera or cell phone out and snapped some pic if i was alone and also a plate number and turned them into local law enforcement.

What I would do and what is right are two different things.
I have zero tolerance for this type of behavior. I'm sure it would have involved Spider Wire and his Testacles though.

Sounds like everyone will be keeping their eyes peeled. We'll catch the turd.

while im just as upset as everybody else about what happened i would like to remind everybody to keep the vulgar language out of the conversation this is a family site and its not very becoming of us when new comers come to the idaho board and see swearing and cussing.

thanks

You are absolutely correct, I apologize to anyone that may have been offended. My emotions type faster than my brain. Chrome could you please remove my post so no one else has to see it. I won't let it happen again.
Thanks for the suggestion.

i already edited the post all i was worried about was the A-hole word the rest is fine. thank you for being understanding about it and i understand something like that can make you say things you normally wouldnt because i am guilty of it as well.

all good sound responses- sorry though I would have been the guy that dealt with it then and there.
[signature]
I agree I would have dealt with it on the spot, but again I was police for 20yrs in military and work as a civillian in a depart now.

question for the guys who said they would deal with it then and there. how would you have handled it? are you prepared if the guy is on the extreme side of wacko ? what if he turns his attention to you and disables you enough that your wife and kids are left helpless? Are you also prepared for a confrontation that could put you in a criminal or civil court ? Just re member you cant hand someone there butt and just walk away times have changed , there are conciquences for your choices Just my 2 cents

You make some valid points/concerns about the welfare of your family members. Their [and your] safety comes first so confrontation with the unknown element of this person's personality is a bad gamble.

Others have also made good points....

- take photo's if you can, without being noticed;
- get vehicle description and tag numbers;
- be prepared to provide accurate description of person/place/time even if you do get some photos

That being said, remove your family from the area to a location where you can contact the authorities [County Sheriff; 911; and/or facility authorities as appropriate - Forest Service; Park Ranger; etc.] and make your report. This is the most critical action you can take to ensure your saftey and see to it that this perv is dealt with appropriately.

I'm with Dean on this one. No matter how much you would like to bathe and bruise the pervert, the ramifications would be longlasting. Mostly, it would be the impressions left upon your daughter, beyond the visual assault already perpetrated. I'm sure that the memory of her father beating upon, (or being beaten by) another individual would be indelible. Do what you can (legally) and rest assured that this jerk will, at last, stand before a judge to answer for his crimes. What goes around..............
