Only had a couple of hours in the early morning and my boy wanted to go fishing so we hit Highland Glen before the sun made it up. We were the first ones there and had it to our selves. The stink from dead fish in some places could kill you. Finding what the trout wanted wasn't working so we switched to some small flies and started catching the millions of baby Bluegill. Any fly about two feet below a bubble was working. I don't know how many of those little three inch things we caught but my boy was happy so it was a great trip out.
Some observations from while we were there. A lot of the catfish and some of the trout looked like they had ick. It has been in the pond before and looked like it is back. The trout we caught and some of the others I saw didn't have it but I would lay money it's in there again. All of the Bluegill looked fine though.
