Hey everyone and anybody, I am taking a trip to Manti in a few weeks and want to do some fishing. I noticed that Gunnison Reservoir is quite close but I have never fished there. Anybody know anything about it, likely catch, what tackle to bring? And if Gunnison is no good what body of water in that area is? Thank you and I appreciate any help!

Nine Mile and Pali
es are both just south of Manti.

i have fished Gunnison 4 times this year.. most day's we just hit carp but some realy big carp.. and 3 big cat's have come in down there for us this year as well one that was 10 lb's 2 that were 8 lb's.. i'm not giveing out my spot tho.. you'll have to find it out for your self.. [sly]..

es is close and 9 mile is close as well but both have been hit real hard the last year and this spring.. redmond is close by about 20 miles from manti it's got pike, bass, and catfish in it.. fun lake to hit some times.. yuba is not far the other way.. then you 6 mile canyon it's got some small lakes and streams that have a bunch of small planters in them.. you can take the drive over ephraim canyon and go to grassy lake and Joe's valley it's about a hour drive but well woth it.. and your not far form fairview canyon ya got a bunch of lakes up there as well..
