I fished it a little over a week ago. There was a low pressure area working through so it was overcast and windy most of the day - usually making for a great day. But it was slow. I had 5 fish, all nice, but not legal. Took a couple on a damsel nymph, one on an ice cream cone, and two on a scud, all suspended under an indicator in 5-6 feet of water. Couldn't turn anything stripping leeches. Didn't see anyone else doing much. There weren't a lot of people up there, even for a weekday. I don't know if the damsels are late coming off or I missed them. The lake is not full to the brim, but at a good water level. The Idaho DFG report for this week indicated that damsels were working just about every where. Good luck.

Don't want to hijack this post, but I want to know what an ice cream cone fly is?

Chronimid pattern. White beadhead representing gills. Looks like an ice cream cone.

It's a chironomid pattern out of British Columbia. Here's the pattern information:
Tiemco 2302 #10-18
Thread - black
Rib - red copper wire
Body - super floss. You can vary the colors. I use black
Thorax - tying thread
Head - white metal bead
The only tying trick is that you wrap the tying thread up onto the white bead so that only half of the bead is visable. Here is a link with a picture:

I like to use them under an indicator because they sink like a rock. I'll put one or two other flies on further up the leader and use the ice cream cone to get everything down quickly. It is also known as a Sno Cone,
