Smallfry_cattin', his dad, and I met at Lincoln Beach at 5:30 am to go out and try our luck on the south side of Utah Lake, Goshen Bay, etc. The wind never let us out of the harbor, we waited 3 hours for it to die and it never did. We left there and wanted to go and try a spot from shore so we met up an hour later and did awesome the whole day until around 4 pm. Smallfry caught bluegill, sunfish, white bass, channel cat, and mudcat all in a day, one of his channels was so fat you couldn't even get your hand around it to hold onto it. His old man caught 5 channel cats right at 24 inches! I caught a couple cats and the biggest was at 26 inches. Lots of action all day long and it made the hours fly by.

Thanks for the fishing report and the pictures. Yours is a good story of persistence, in spite of challenging circumstances. Your story is an example of one of my favorite sayings, "Things work out best for the people who make the best of the way things work out."
