Made it up to Weir, Duck and Marjorie lakes yesterday. Arrived at Weir at 7:00 AM. Fishing was hot for 8-11 inch brookies that slammed any fly pattern smaller than a size 16. At one point I landed fish on 5 consecutive casts. After a while of fishing Weir, headed to Marjorie lake where fishing was slow on everything we tried. Then, made the trip to Duck lake where fishing was a little better. 3 brook trout landed in an hour of fishing. All three liked my gold jake's lure. Overall, over 50 fish landed in about 4 or 5 hours of fishing. If you're trying the area, fish each lake you pass for a few minutes and at least one should have fast fishing. Will post pictures as soon as I find the cord to my camera.

Nice job. There's a lake up by the Devide Lakes called Little Hidden that can hold a few surprises.

I had the same experience two weeks ago up there. Weir was great and Marjorie stunk it up.
